is there anyway i can profit off these legally?
i have a bunch of blank dvds and cds. i could make some videos and try to sell them but i'm not sure if people would buy home movies from some 17 year old. should i bring my portable dvd player and show them how funny my videos are? i'm worried it might get robbed.
also wheres a good place to sell them?
If the contents of the DVD's are your own creations you can sell them. BUT, and a very important but, is that you will need a signed release from everybody that appears in the videos. Amateur or not, by selling the videos you have made the participants actors and they can demand payment for their performance. If you don't get a signed release you could face legal action. Especially if someone is embarrassed and doesn't want to be seen in the video. Then you can sell them where ever you wish.
