Lotion Applicator
I keep getting acne from powders, concealers & foundations?
I've even tried supposedly good brands such as Mac, but after I wear it for even a few hours, the next day I get at least one blemish. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong - I make sure to use a new applicator every time and not use my hands when applying the powder and concealer in otder to avoid getting bacteria on my skin, but I still break out from them. I've tried not wearing any makeup for a week and I stopped getting all blemishes, but it's frustrating because I see girls who wear makeup all the time and it doesn't make their skin break out. I follow a daily routine of making sure I cleanse my face of oils before applying the makeup but nothing works. I went to one makeup store and they told me that I should be putting on some sort of primer or lotion/cream before applying any powder or concealer/foundation in order to prevent breakouts - does this work? what exactly is a primer, $ wouldn't having the cream/lotion mix in with makeup just make more acne due to the oiliness in them?
Try a mineral foundation. www.everydayminerals.com - It's fairly inexpensive, and you can order free samples before you buy the full size. I've been using it for about a year, and my skin is much better now than when I used liquid foundation.
