Massage Action
Is sensual or erotic massage illegal in NYC?
Saw a tempting ad on Craig's List. Before I make a mistake, I just wanted to be clear on the legalities of this action.
Any money exchanged for any service that could be considered sexual - even excluding intercourse and it is prostitution and illegal.
Now if the ad was simply someone looking to trade massages then it falls into the area of consenting adults and is legal, but any fees or gifts or tips then it is not only prostitution, but a violation of the state practice act regulating medical care including massage.
